Dave Rhodes or DJR Creative In the Mix on RTI

After a surprise appearance over the Christmas Holiday 2016, Dave went back on the Airwaves on a regular basis!

Dave produced a 1 hour mix show that will be heard during Daytimes on Radio Tatras International (RTI), it can be heard around the world via the stations website that can be found here - www.rti.fm

After a few years of being just behind the buttons, in the mix, Dave was eventually tempted back in front of the mic at the start of 2020 with the launch of the Radio Experience On RTI!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN...

A chance meeting at a charity radio project introduced Dave to to the world of Satellite Radio, where he was able to present on stations broadcasting to the whole of Europe via the Astra Satellite, as well as producing Jingles, Idents and features for his own programmes and the talk show MediaZoo (Previously called Satellite Surgery) that he co-hosted.

As an off shoot of the Media show a series of one off Satellite TV specials occurred, Dave spent most of the time behind the scenes, but he did present on camera briefly, although he tried to ensure that all evidence of these had been erased from existence, he hasn't been very successful as you can see from the videos on the Media Zoo page!

He has also been heard on as the voice over for a cricket tv promotion for an intentional broadcaster!

I've found some old video I shot in the mid 90's when I was working at the satellite radio station CMR - Country Music Radio for Europe,

So I've cut the footage together with some of my old  Voice Over Jingles for your entertainment!

NOTE - Sorry about the quality but it was a dark studio and the footage is nearly 30 years old (No Widescreen or HD then!)
