PRESS RELEASE - Dave & JB's Max Regen

D & J Media are pleased to announce the launch of Max Regen, a weekly series of YouTube vlogs, that hopefully will demystify the world of EV's (Electric Vehicles), but also show both sides of the EV debate - From the point of view of an EV owner (JB) and the view of a petrol head (Dave). The aim was to show that owning and Electric Car is not as bad as the way mainstream media usually approach the subject of EV's, but also show that it is not a perfect world either.
By putting two friends in the car, one with positive and one with negative viewpoints, you'll hopefully get a more balanced view, by showing how both sides see, and view this now commonplace sight on the UK's roads, and in the process, see if we can convert Dave, the petrol head, into an EV fan!
The first 4 webisodes will cover an electric vehicle road trip. Starting near Eastbourne, East Sussex, with JB at the controls of his trusty 2nd hand 24kw Nissan Leaf, The pair head for the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire, with Dave riding shotgun in a typical petrol head T Shirt! (To be honest the destination was the carrot JB used to get Dave to join him!)
It turns out the conversation, is not only EV based, but became quite random at times, and there were a lot of laughs along the way, so don't expect to be drowned in car talk! We do discover the good parts, the bad parts and the confusing parts of owning an EV, as well as listening in on those odd conversations two friends have as they drive along, which range from the peculiar, to the downright weird with the occasional interesting fact about the places they drive through thrown in for good measure, and not forgetting many reviews of motorway service stations!
Join Dave and JB to discover if they'll make it to their destination before the batteries go flat? How much service station coffee can two people drink? Why are the Toilets always at the far end of the service station? and the main reason for the series, is owning an EV a viable option today?
All these questions and more will hopefully be answered over the coming weeks, on Dave & JB's Max Regen!

NOTES
JB - John Bolton - is a freelance video cameraman and producer based in East Sussex, who traded in his trusty BMW motorcycle in October 2018, much to the shock of his friends and colleagues, for a 4 year old 24Kw Nissan Leaf. His reasons were to find a cheaper means of transport and do his bit for the environment, as "I'd quite like to know my kids will have air to breath when I'm gone!" From his first day he had 'Leafy Leaf' he was hooked! - in fact he is now looking to trade the main family car in for an EV as well!
Dave - Dave Rhodes - is a frustrated creative living in Bromley, and works in the media industry. With a passion for audio production, he can be found creating shows for internet radio station RTI - Radio Tatras International - www.rti.fm. Outside of the media world Dave has a huge passion for American muscle cars "Probably because I grew up watching far too many American TV series in the 80's where the car was the star!" Obviously this obsession is definitely not environmentally friendly, the only good news for the environment is he has no idea which end of a spanner is which, so he dare not buy one and therefore you won't find him in a garage tinkering - He will just be admiring the cars from a distance!
D & J Media is Dave & JB who met just over 15 years ago, when JB employed Dave at the media logistics company JB was Technical Director at. Their shared interests in Audio, Video and Cars, sparked a long standing friendship that has outlasted their time as colleagues within the company where they met, and today they find themselves working on all manor of projects together to create the D & J Media partnership, as well as days out and 'working lunches' (That's the excuse JB gives his wife!)
