So How Did This All Come About?
Dave has always created mixes to listen to when out in the car or commuting into London on the train, with an audience of, well just a handful, mainly passengers in his car, or friends of his daughter, who had copies as well!
As Christmas 2016 loomed, he produced a Christmas mix, and in a moment of festive cheer, he shared the mix with his friends on social media, and within an hour Eric Wiltsher, Dave's partner in crime from the Media Zoo days, had contacted him and asked if he could air the mix on Radio Tatras International (RTI) The online radio station Eric runs. Everything was agreed and within 12 hours the 1 hour Christmas mix went out on air!
The reaction was very good, and that started a conversation between Eric and Dave over how often he was making these mixes, the rest, as they say is history...

So Dave was then making mixes not just to entertain his passengers and his daughter and her mates, he was now entertaining the world on RTI with those “In The Mix” shows!
Time rolls on and following his appearances on Max Regen and RTI’s Postcard From Poprad, it was clear that Dave needed to get back behind the Mic, and so from the start of January 2020 The Radio Experience was born.
How would we describe the show? well think of it as a Weekly 1 Hour of mainly pop hits from the last few decades, all mixed together with some of his Urrr witty (His words not ours) comments and useless facts as well as a bit of Dave's usual blend of audio production, you may find he even throws in the occasional themed special
When can a new show be heard?
Thursday at 9pm UK Time / 10pm Central European Time and
Sunday at 7pm UK / 8pm CET
In The Mix shows can be heard during weekday daytimes on RTI
What is RTI? you ask, Radio Tatras International was born on 9th April 2005, and is based in Poprad, Slovakia. At the foot of the Tatra Mountains in Northern Slovakia. Poprad is the tenth largest city and is a picturesque centre and holiday resort in Slovakia.
